Despair is "Complete loss or absence of hope".
Some of us use alcohol, drugs, or misdirected anger as coping mechanisms for Despair. Rather it is food despair, Emotional despair, and Clothing. When someone has lost the ability to hope there is an absence of the ability to see the future! So many of us suffer from short-term solutions which sometimes cause devastating results. The best thing anyone can do is to listen without judgment when they know someone in despair, rather that person said it or you see it in their behavior. Help that person, that family helps themselves. Provide, educate and motivate to get rid of despair and bring in faith! Challenges are not meant to be barriers, but benefits in growth!
