Ground sirloin, brown rice pasta, and a basil and garlic tomato sauce are
layered with a non-dairy “ricotta cheese” mixture and topped with a
mozzarella-flavored vegan shredded cheese.
The brown rice lasagna is made with rice bran for an increase in dietary
fiber. The invisible vegetables in this dish include spinach and yellow
squash.
Everything but the beef, pasta, and “cheeses” is pureed into the tomato
sauce for a smooth texture. This looks and tastes like regular lasagna, but
packs a much bigger nutritional punch.
The frozen Lasagna fits perfectly in a 9" x 5" Pyrex loaf pan for one dish
table service.
